I love the proximity to the beach. My room had a sea view and was very pleasant.
The pillows were very hard - I asked for something softer but was told they had nothing else. The lack of service in the bistro really lets this hotel down and the continental breakfast was very poor.
Location, comfortable quiet room
Unfortunately the lifts were out of action on saturday
The location and view were great, as was the food in the bistro in the pub downstairs.
I was very disappointed to find that the hotel did not have any rooms with jacuzzis/spas. On the Booked.net website the hotel advertisement stated that 'some' of the rooms came with a jucuzzi/spa, and this was a significant reason for booking at this hotel. Also there was a boxed up mirror left in the room when we arrived that was yet to be installed, and the receptionist was surprised that we considered having someone come into our room in the afternoon to install it was inconvenient!
Staff were friendly and the service was good. Good parking garage.
A previous occupier had smoked in the room. There was a lingering odour. No alternative room was available. I found waiting for the lift annoying (given the hotel is only 2 floors. The emergency doors were wedged open.
The room was so clean and comfortable with great facilities.
Convenient location and spacious room. Reasonable value for money bordering on the expensive side for outer Sydney.
The room was above average and the price reasonable.
No where to have a meal except for where the band was playing very loudly. Granted it was Friday night.
The room was clean, new and reasonably spacious. Air conditioning worked well and double sound proofing on doors was good. Close to bar and pub. View and proximity to beach is good.
I liked the convenient location, close to public transport and shops.
I have no complaints as such, but the bedside and other lighting were not comfortable enough for reading.
Comfortable and spacious room over looking ocean
Upon lbooking out there was a male person at the front desk sitting on one of the desk chairs dressed in a suit with a hotel logo. This man made very inappropriate comments to me. The two girls serving me at the counter were very nice and efficient but whoever the man was, was way out of line and if female customers are coming into the hotel and are hit on in such a manner I am sure they won't return.
location to the northern beaches
the angle of the tv when in bed
The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was spacious and the view lovely.
This is not a boutique hotel as it styles itself, it is a pub with rooms, albeit nice ones. My very expensive room, however, was directly above the very loud music and the outdoor smoking area. Even with the double balcony doors closed which the staff assured me would block any noise, I could hear the music and the people in the pub directly below. In fact, my room vibrated so loud was the music. And the smoke found its way into my room too. I was not at all impressed as I had paid $285 per night for this.
Convenient location Access to restaurant & bar Parking Balcony Security
Price. The room overlooking a construction site was not worth $221. The food was ordinary small serves and overpriced. The fact that you are sending me unsolicited surveys. Take me off you mailing list I'm not interested.
Large room and bathroom. Complmentary carparking. Quietness.
Felt the room could have contained small set of crockery and cutlery and possibly a microwave. Carpark was dirty.
